Editorial
Kwacha News corrects mistakes. The newsroom's reputation rests on its facts, and the only way to keep facts trustworthy is to publish corrections quickly, clearly and in the same place as the original error.
When a reader, source or staff member identifies an error, the assigning editor reviews the claim against the underlying source. If the error is confirmed, the article is updated, a dated correction note is appended to the foot of the article, and the change is logged in the corrections register below.
For significant errors — one that changes the central claim of a story, the named subject of a story, or a number large enough to mislead a reader — we also link to the correction from the homepage for at least 48 hours.
Spotted something? Write to corrections@kwachanews.com with the article URL and the specific claim you're flagging. We aim to respond within two business days.
No corrections issued yet on this register. New entries land here within 24 hours of being made on the affected article.
